About Us
The Galaxy Lacrosse Conference was established in 2000 to bring together like-minded leaders in the game who were determined to help build a bridge between high school and college lacrosse by providing high level competition beyond the spring season. Founding members of Galaxy include passionate coaches, teachers and mentors that all recognized taking your game to the next level required better coaching, teaching and mentoring.
Ultimately, the Galaxy Conference is a place where the best players compete to elevate their level of play and where the top club team leaders share ideas to help propel lacrosse into the future.
Galaxy honors its clubs and their members on this website, keeping meticulous track of our shining stars. In addition, Galaxy Nationals are held in to determine a champion in each grad year and the All Galaxy Weekend, held in November, celebrates the All Galaxy honorees with games and the annual awards banquet. Past banquet speakers include head coaches Chris Sailer (Princeton), Shelly Klaes-Bawcombe (James Madison), Liza Kelly (Denver), Julie Myers (Virginia) and Sue Heether (US National Team).
